We are pleased to announce that GRID International Consulting Engineers S.A. submitted the Santo Ovídio Viaduct Project, in Vila Nova de Gaia and was the big winner of the Portugal Steel Bridges Awards 2024.

To give visibility, distinguish, and encourage the creative use of steel in the construction of bridges, CMM, within the scope of the Portugal Steel project, launched the "Portugal Steel Bridges Awards 2024". The competition, held every two years, is aimed at projects or constructions carried out by CMM member companies, and metallic structure works, designed or built by national companies, are eligible.

The winning project was thus submitted to the international competition "Europen Steel Bridges Awards 2024" and was not distinguished as the winner in any of the categories.
