Portuguese company A1V2 participates in the construction of a new production plant in Algeria, project in the amount of 35 million Euros

A1V2, a Portuguese engineering and architecture company and one of the CMM Portugal Steel project companies, is participating in the construction of a steelwork plant in Algeria, a project that represents an investment of 35 million euros.

The work is part of the expansion and internationalization of the A1V2 and involves the implementation of a heavy metalworking, hot dip galvanizing and production plant located 100 km from the Algerian capital Algiers.

The Portuguese engineering company monitored the development of all phases of the project and was responsible for most of the projects, from the subdivision, architecture, all structures, including large metal buildings, hydraulics networks and equipment, Gas welding, natural gas networks and reservoirs, among others.

The industrial facility has approximately 100 000 m2, consisting of the main production buildings and all the necessary facilities for the respective labor process. The two main buildings of the manufacturing, manufacturing and galvanizing plant have 21 200 m2 and 16 000 m2, respectively, with a production capacity of the galvanizing line of 13 t / h and an average annual capacity of 15 000 t. This plant expects to employ about 550 employees.
